🔒 Privacy-First Design: Mortgage Insights does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All information you enter stays on your device at all times.
This Privacy Policy describes how Heucera Ltd ("we", "our", or "us") handles information in connection with the Mortgage Insights mobile application ("the App"), available on iOS and Android.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App is designed to function entirely on-device — no account is required and no personal data is sent to our servers or any third party, except as described in Section 5 (Subscriptions).
This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service, which governs your use of the App, including subscription billing and disclaimers.
We do not collect, store, or process:
All data you enter into the App — including your mortgage details and simulation preferences — is stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
Retention: Since we never receive or store your data on any server, there is no server-side retention period to disclose — your data exists only for as long as it remains on your device, and only you control it.
Deletion: You can delete your data at any time in one of two ways:
Because no copy of your data exists anywhere else, deletion is immediate and irreversible — we have no backup to restore from, and neither do you.
As a resident of Ireland or the EU/EEA, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and the right to object to processing. Residents of other regions (e.g. California under the CCPA) have analogous rights.
Because Mortgage Insights does not collect or transmit any personal data to us, there is nothing held on our servers for us to action on your behalf. Instead, these rights are already satisfied by design:

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or your local supervisory authority.
The App offers optional paid features through a subscription ("Mortgage Insights PRO"). Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat, a third-party service.
When you purchase or restore a subscription, RevenueCat may process:
RevenueCat does not receive your mortgage data or any personally identifiable information from us. For details on how RevenueCat handles data, please refer to the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not handle or store payment card details.
Downloading and installing the App is subject to the privacy practices of Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). These platforms may collect standard device and download data in accordance with their own privacy policies, which are independent of ours.
The App may invite you to leave a review after a period of use. This prompt is handled natively by Apple or Google and does not involve any data exchange with Heucera Ltd.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the App — see our Terms of Service for details. The App is not directed at children, and since it does not collect any personal information from any user, no data is collected from children either.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
